ABOUT MS. AHN

EKACounseling.com is headed by Ms. Eun K. Ahn who is a USA (NYS) licensed Individual, Couples and Family Therapist since 2006.  She has an extensive experience working with diverse population ranging from children, couples, families through offering individual, couples and family therapy.  She provided individual and family counseling to families affected by chronic illness.  She also worked with caregivers who were raising minor children after losing their custodial parents due to chronic illness.  In addition,  Ms. Ahn coordinated a variety of programs to assist immigrant families adjusting to their new culture in USA.    

Ms. Eun K. Ahn holds M.A. and EdM degree in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and MSW from the NYU Silver School of Social Work.  She completed a  3 year post graduate clinical externship program in family therapy from Ackerman Institute for the Family.
